Butzer CALL TO ORDER The Board of Plumbing Examiners & Review met December 8, 2020, virtually via the Missouri River Conference Room of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order by Richard Hunt, Plumbing Inspector, at 5:05 p.m. A quorum was present virtually. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM THE FEBRUARY 19, 2020 MEETING A motion was made by Gary Michel and seconded by Jerry Raithel to approve the minutes of the February 19, 2020 meeting. Motion passed by show of hands. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM THE OCTOBER 27, 2020 MEETING A motion was made by Gary Michel and seconded by Mike Lage to approve the minutes of the October 27, 2020 meeting. Motion passed by show of hands. REVIEW LICENSE APPLICATION • A motion was made by Mike Lage and seconded by Brent Haas to approve Richard Mechlin to receive his Master's license. Motion passed by a show of hands. • A motion was made by Gary Michel and seconded by Brent Haas to approve Mark Bernskoetter to receive his Master's license. Motion passed by a show of hands. 1 • A motion was made by Mike Lage and seconded by Jerry Raithel to approve Kyle Gunnels to receive his Journeyman's license. Motion passed by a show of hands. • A motion was made by Gary Michel and seconded by Jerry Raithel to approve Brent Monteer to receive his Journeyman's license. Motion passed by a show of hands. • A motion was made by Mike Lage and seconded by Gary Michel to approve Bryan Hand to receive his Journeyman's license. Motion passed by a show of hands. NEW BUSINESS The new Building Official, Matt Kreyling, was introduced to the Board, and received a warm welcome. Matt explained the new software that Planning & Protective Services will be using soon, and it's advantages. He explained that one important and time saving advantage, will be the ability for contractors to apply for permits online. OLD BUSINESS Rick informed the Board, that due to the COVID19 Pandemic and the March Hail Storm, and the effects those matters had on staffing, and workload, the begin of the Master and Journeyman License Renewal process, has been moved to July 2022. SCHEDULE NEXT MEETING The Plumbing Examiners & Review Board's next meeting date is yet to be determined. ADJOURNMENT With no further business, a motion was made by Brent Haas and seconded by Jerry Raithel to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed by show of hands.
