AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH T&M ASSOCIATES
WHEREAS, there exists a need for specialized Engineering Services in
connection with the Borough of Carteret's participation in the Middlesex County
Street Paving Program; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Engineer, Donald Norbut of T&M Associates,
submitted a proposal for said Engineering and Inspection services in the amount
not to exceed $3,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Councd have rewewed the Engineer s proposa and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are available for
said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey; as follows:
1. The proposal from Donald Norbut of T&M Associates, attached heret°,
for Engineering and Inspection services for a total cost not to exceed
$3,500.00 for said services is hereby approved.
2. Annexed hereto is a copy of the proposal.
3. This action is approved without competitive bids as an award of a
Professional Services Contract.
Adopted this 19th day of July, 2001
and certified as a true copy of the
original on July 20, 2001.
