CITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, APRIL 19, 2021
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the April 19, 2021 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at 5:45
P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Councilmembers were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Hensley, Hussey, Kemna, Lester, Schreiber,
Vogt, Ward, and Wiseman
Absent: None
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF FIRST MEETING AGENDA ITEMS
Councilmember Graham will lead the prayer.
Miscellaneous
- Chesney Schulte, Communicable Disease Coordinator for the Cole County
Health Department will join via Webex with a few pandemic announcements.
- Mayor Tergin will present the “Arbor Day” proclamation to Todd Spalding,
Director of Parks, Recreation, & Forestry.
Public Hearing
- Sonny Sanders, Director of Planning & Protective Services will present bi ll
2020-074.
Appointments
- Gail Strope, Human Resources Director, will present the recommended
appointments.
Presentations from Staff, Consultants & Invited Guests
- Mayor Tergin will recognize Republic Services Driver, James Ousley for his
Lifesaving Efforts.
Consent Agenda
- Councilmember Lester has a recommended change to the April 5, 2021
minutes.

Bills Pending
- City Staff presented their pending bills.
- Staff will recommend postponing the vote on Bill 2020-075 related to
amending the sewer rates.

Subcommittee Meetings
