APPOINTING RISK MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT
I
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional risk management
services as required pursuant to bylaws of the Middlesex County Municipal Joint
Insurance Fund of which the Borough is a member; and
WHEREAS, G.R Murray, a Division of O'Gorman & Young, Inc, 707, State
Road, P.Ô:Box 83 Princeton, New Jersey 08542, has submitted a proposed
contract to provide said risk management services, a copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has reviewed said contract and scope of
services; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are, or will be
available for this purpos~.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret as follows:
1. That the proposed contract from G.R. Murray to provide professional risk
management consultirig services at a cost not to exceed six percent (6%) of
the Borough's annual assessment as established by the Middlesex County
Joint Insurance Fund is hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of
the Borough.
3. That a copy of this resolution and contract be forwarded to the Borough's
Purchasing Department and G.R. Murray.
Adopted this 19th day of May, 2005
and certified as a true copy of the
original on May 20, 2005.
