The request is to install approximately 30 feet of 2, 4 inch conduits from pole 46/5 to the Town Boundary with Belmont provide service to properties on the opposite side of Belmont Street. The MBTA requires that this service be placed below ground in order to avoid conflict with the catenary wires above. This request has been reviewed and approved by the Superintendent of Public Works and Community Development and Planning. The details of this request are contained in the attachments. (Siena) is hereby requesting from the Town of Watertown, permission to lay, maintain and operate underground conduits, with the cables to be placed therein, under the surface of the following public way: Belmont Street, from existing utility pole #118/11 to the Belmont town line, two (2), fl- inch PVC conduits, approximately 30 -feet in length All conduits shall be placed at an approximate depth of 48 -inches and in accordance with the requirements of the Town's Department of Public Works.
