RE: Town of Gulfstream Canal Dredging Project -
Revised Bid By Murphy Construction Company
Dear Mr. Gwynn:
We have met with John Murphy of the Murphy Construction Company and our
discussions have resulted in the submittal of a revised bid by the Murphy
Construction Company. (See attached.) We recommend that the Town of
Gulfstream select the Murphy Construction Company as the contractor for
this project for a total cost of $294,570.00.
Murphy Construction Company has made this lump sum proposal to do what-
ever is required to complete the job. Murphy Construction Company's
proposal is within 17 percent of our estimate, for the work. We consider
Murphy Construction Company's proposal to be fair and reasonable for the
performance of the work.
We recommend that the Town select Murphy Construction Company as the
contractor for this project for a total contract amount of $294,570.00.
Should you have any questions, please contact me.
