Public Hearings for Two Major Land Development Projects in
Leesburg Scheduled
The Town Council will hear public comment on the Leegate and Crescent Parke
rezoning applications.
Leesburg, VA (October 18, 2016) – Town of Leesburg officials have scheduled public hearings
for two major land development projects for November.
On Tuesday, November 15, 2016, the Leesburg Town Council will hold a public hearing on the
Leegate rezoning and special exception applications. Leegate is a proposed mixed-use
development located at the southwest corner of the Battlefield Parkway and Route 7
intersection. The combined applications seek approval for 468 residential units, 710,000 square
feet of office, retail and hotel space, and two parking structures. The land is currently zoned I-1
(Industrial/Research Park). For more information about the Leegate applications, visit the Town

On Tuesday, November 29, 2016, the Leesburg Town Council will hold a public hearing on the
Crescent Parke rezoning application. Crescent Parke is a proposed mixed-use development
located to the east of South King Street, north of the Route 7/15 Bypass and adjacent to Olde
Izaak Walton Park. The application seeks approval for 344 residential units and 161,000 square
feet of commercial space. The property is currently zoned CD-C (Crescent Design – Commercial)
and CD-MUO (Crescent Design – Mixed Use Optional). For more information about the Crescent

Both public hearings will be held during regular Leesburg Town Council meetings which are held
in the Council Chamber on the second floor of the Leesburg Town Hall (25 West Market Street)
and begin at 7:30 p.m.
