The Patrons’ Event will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at the
Coldwell Banker Real Estate office in downtown Leesburg (25 South King Street). During the
preview, patrons are invited to enjoy light refreshments and music by Catoctin School of Music
celloists Alison Lily and Brianna Cantrall. A small selection of artworks will be raffled off during
the show preview, but no works from the main show will be available for purchase until the
sale on Saturday, November 12, 2016. The Patrons’ Event is open to everyone, with a suggested
donation of $5.00.
The artworks will go on sale on Saturday, November 12, 2016, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.,
also at the Coldwell Banker office. All works will be sold on a first-come, first-buy basis.
Admission to Saturday art sale is free. Enjoy music by Catoctin School of Music students
Mayleen and Waylee Hyett performing on the keyboard and guitar.
Proceeds from $50 Friends 5x7 Artworks! will benefit public arts initiatives in the Town of
Leesburg. Funds from last year’s event supported the bike mural in the Town garage and the
Sculpture Garden in Raflo Park. Funds from this year’s event will be used for possible expansion
of the Sculpture Garden, the new LOVE Sculpture near the W&OD Trail, a mural on the King
Street bridge across Town Branch, and additional public art installations at Town Hall.
