Vote for Your Favorite “Paint the Plow” Entry
Friends of Leesburg Public Art will award $100 to the school with the most
votes.
Leesburg, VA – Four Leesburg schools participated in the second annual “Paint the Plow” public
art project. The theme for this year is “Holidays” and the four entries are:
Chinese New Year, by Tuscarora High School
Earth Day, by Harper Park Middle School
Festival of Lights, by J. Lupton Simpson Middle School
Pi Day, by Smart's Mill Middle School
The painted snow plow blades will be featured in the Kiwanis Halloween Parade on Monday,
October 31, 2016, and the Christmas & Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 10, 2016.
Members of the public can vote on their favorite design, through midnight on Saturday,
December 10. The Friends of Leesburg Public Art will present the winning school with a $100
prize at the Leesburg Town Council meeting on Tuesday, December 13, 2016.
