A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING THE DESIGN CONTRACT FOR THE LAVINIA AVENUE & HARRIS
AVENUE STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBERS 4011.67.955
AND 4011.67.956 IN THE AMOUNT OF $22,448 TO APA ENGINEERING, INC. AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT AGREEMENT
~' WHEREAS, on November 20, 2007, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
~ approved the on-call services list of consultants for design and construction
I administration of capital improvement projects; and
WHEREAS, on January 12, 2009, staff issued a request for proposals (RFP's)
for the design of the Lavinia Avenue & Harris Avenue Street Improvement Project,
Project Numbers 4011.67.955 and 4011.67.956 to said firms; and
WHEREAS, all three firm submitted their proposal; and
WHEREAS, APA Engineering, Inc. is the most qualified firm with the lowest
proposed fee of $22,448.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Lynwood City Council of the City of Lynwood awards the
design contract for the Lavinia Avenue & Harris Avenue Street Improvement Project,
Project Numbers 4011.67.955 and 4011.67.956 in the amount of $22,448 to APA
Engineering, Inc.
r., Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute a service agreement with
APA Engineering, Inc. The agreement shall be in a form approved by the City Attorney.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of February, 2009.
