APPROVING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT -
FITZ MEDIA
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional marketing services to
promote Carteret's downtown commercial/retail areas; and
WHEREAS, Fitz Media possess the requisite experience and expertise to provide said
specialized marketing services; and
WHEREAS, Fitz Media has submitted a proposal to perfom1 said services at an initial
cost not to exceed $5,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that UEZ and SID funds are or will
be available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret that the proposal from Fitz Media to provide the referenced marketing
services is hereby approved and the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized
and directed to enter into a contract with Fitz Media for said services in accordance with
its proposal for the same.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this award is made as a professional service
contract as defined by NJ.S.A. 40A: 11-2(6).
Adopted this 19th day of May, 2005
and certified as a true copy of the
original on May 20,2005.
