APPROVING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT -
APPRAISAL CONSULTANTS CORP.
WHEREAS, the Borough ofCarteret is in need of professional appraisal services
with regard to appraisals of properties involved in tax appeal matters; and
WHEREAS, Appraisal Consultants Corp., possesses the requisite experience and
expertise to provide said specialized appraisal services; and
WHEREAS, Appraisal Consultants Corp., has proposed to perform said services
at an initial cost not to exceed $12,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or win be
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that Appraisal Consultants Corp., is hereby appointed to
provide professional appraisal services in regard to appraisals for tax appeal
matters for an initial maximum cost not to exceed $12,500.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this appointment is made as a professional
service as defined by N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-2(6).
