CITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, JUNE 21, 2021
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the June 21, 2021 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at
5:46 P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Councilmembers were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Hensley, Kemna, Lester, Schreiber, Spencer, Spicer, Vogt, and
Wiseman
Absent: Fitzwater and W ard
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilmember Spencer will lead the prayer.
Miscellaneous
- Mayor Tergin will read a pandemic update provided by Kristi Campbell,
Director of Cole County Health Department.
- Mayor Tergin will introduce Andrea Holloway, Executive Director for Council
for Drug Free Youth
- Ken Hussey was introduced as tri-chair of the Capital Improvements Sales
Tax H Committee, “Citizens for Prop 1”. Natalie Newville, fellow tri-chair was
also introduced.
Bills Introduced
- City Staff presented their respective introduced bills.
Councilmember Fitzwater arrived at the meeting at 5:50 P.M.
Bills Pending
- City Staff presented their respective pending bills.
Informal Calendar
- Councilmember Fitzwater intends to leave bill 2021 -003 where it will expire
after the meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 5:56 P.M.
