AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT OF SCHOTTHILL WOODS
SUBDIVISION, SECTION FIVE, A SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI.
WHEREAS, Schotthill Woods Corporation, owner of the real estate hereinafter described,
having submitted to the City Council a plat of said real estate, being located in
Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri, and described as: Part of the
Northwest Quarter and part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 21, Township
44 North, Range 11 West and part of Lot 62 of Schotthill Woods Subdivision —
Section Two as per plat of record in Book 11, page 324, Cole County
Recorder's Office. All in the City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri, more
particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the northeast corner of
Schotthill Woods Subdivision — Section Four, as per plat of record in Plat
Book 12, page 338, Cole County Recorder's Office; thence westerly, along
the northerly line of said Schotthill Woods Subdivision — Section Four, being
the northerly line of a 60 foot wide public street right-of-way known as
Schotthill Woods Drive, the following courses: South 89 degrees, 45 minutes,
58 seconds West, 130.73 feet; thence, on a curve to the right, having a radius
of 628.02 feet, an arc distance of 285.96 feet (the chord of said curve being
North 77 degrees, 11 minutes, 23 seconds West, 283.50 feet); thence North
64 degrees, 08 minutes, 43 seconds West, 65.83 feet to the most southerly
corner of the property described by deed of record in Book 492, page 867,
Cole County Recorder's Office; thence leaving the aforesaid right-of-way line,
North 25 degrees, 51 minutes, 17 seconds East, along the easterly boundary
of said property described in Book 492, page 867, 683.96 feet to the most
easterly corner thereof and said corner being a point on the southerly line of a
public Highway known as U.S. Route 50 / 63 as per conveyance of record in
Book 167, page 420, Cole County Recorder's Office; thence South 79
degrees, 33 minutes, 24 seconds East, along said Highway right-of-way line,
202.18 feet to a point being Highway Plan Station 156+00, 130 feet Right;
thence easterly, along said Highway right-of-way line, on a curve to the left,
having a radius of 2994.93 feet, an arc distance of 242.61 feet (the chord of
said curve being South 72 degrees, 00 minutes, 36 seconds East, 242.54
feet); thence South 25 degrees, 51 minutes, 17 seconds West, on a direct
line, 661.28 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Containing 7.01 acres.
WHEREAS, it appears that said plat has been fully and properly signed and accepted by
the owner of said subdivision, known and referred to as the Final Subdivision
Plat of Schotthill Woods Subdivision, Section Five, that all taxes have been
paid, that in all respects the requirements of Chapter 445, RSMo, entitled
"Plats" have been fully complied with by the owner of said subdivision, and
that in all respects the requirements of the Planning and Zoning Commission
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relating to plats and subdivisions have been
complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Final Subdivision Plat of Schotthill Woods Subdivision, Section
Five, lying, being and situated within the corporate limits of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
as shown by the said plat attached hereto and made a part of this ordinance, is hereby
approved and accepted by the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to endorse
acceptance of said plat hereon and to certify the approval of said plat under the seal of the
City of Jefferson.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage and approval.
