RESOLUTION NO. 90 -2965
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY ORDERING THE LEVY AND COLLEC-
TION OF ASSESSMENTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1990 -91
WITHIN THE CITY -WIDE LIGHTING MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND
LIGHTING ACT OF 1972.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Temple City did on
the 15th of May, 1990, adopt its Resolution of Intention No.
90 -2957 to levy and collect assessments for fiscal year 1990 -91
within the City -Wide Lighting Maintenance District, which Resolu-
tion No. 90 -2957 was duly and legally published in the time, form
and manner as required by law, shown by the Proof of Publication
of said Resolution of Intention on file in the Office of the City
Clerk; and
WHEREAS, said City Council having duly received . considered
evidence, oral and documentary, concerning the jurisdiction facts
in this proceeding and concerning the necessity for the contem-
plated work and the benefits to be derived therefrom, and said
City Council having now acquired jurisdiction to order the pro -
posed assessment.
SECTION 1. It is hereby resolved by the City Council of the
City of Temple City that the report filed by the Engineer is
hereby approved; and
SECTION 2. Be it further resolved that the public interest
and convenience requires the ordering of the levy and collection
of assessments for fiscal year 1990 -91, and said City Council
hereby orders levy and collection of assessments within the
City -Wide Lighting Maintenance District, as set forth and de-
scribed in said Resolution No. 90 -2957 be done and made; and
SECTION 3. Be it further resolved that the adoption of this
Resolution constitutes the levy of the assessments as set forth
in the Engineer's Report for the fiscal year 1990 -91;
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to file a certified copy of the diagram and assessment with the
County Auditor of the County of Los Angeles not later than the
third Monday in August.

Temple City at a regular meeting held on the 5th day of June,
