Leesburg Commissions to Host Airport Development Public
Input Session
Leesburg, VA (January 21, 2022) – The Leesburg Airport Commission and the Leesburg
Economic Development Commission will host a public input session on Thursday, January 27,
from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in person, but people can participate
virtually.
The Airport Master Plan has identified certain land parcels for future aviation development, and
the two commissions have formed a working group to consider alternatives for those parcels.
This session seeks public input on how those parcels should be developed, best uses of the
land, and what terms might encourage private investment in airport facilities.
Those who would like to participate can join in-person at the 3rd floor conference room, located
in the Stanley Caulkins Terminal at 1001 Sycolin Road SE. Alternatively, participants may join
the meeting virtually through the Microsoft Teams link located on the Town website.
