Virtual Meeting to Provide Update on Evergreen Mill Road
Widening Project
Residents will have the opportunity to review design plans and provide input.
Leesburg, VA (March 4, 2022) –
The Town of Leesburg’s
Department of Public Works and
Capital Projects will host a virtual
neighborhood meeting on
Thursday, March 10 regarding the
Evergreen Mill Road Widening
Project. The meeting will begin at 7
p.m.
Updates will be provided to include an overview of the latest design plans, which are over 60%
complete, and discussion of next steps for the project. The remainder of the meeting will be
reserved for a question-and-answer session.
Pre-registration is encouraged for the virtual meeting and can be done through the project
page at www.leesburgva.gov/evergreenmill. Anyone with questions is asked to contact Project

Approximately 1.3 miles of Evergreen Mill Road, from the southern end of the Heritage High
School property (south of Battlefield Parkway) to South King Street (Route 15), will be widened
to a four-lane street. The project will also include a sidewalk, a shared use path, utility
relocations, curb, gutter, and storm drainage. Learn more at
