Ball’s Bluff Elementary School Turtle Exhibit on Display at
Thomas Balch Library
Leesburg, VA (March 8, 2022) – A new exhibit, “Turtle
Discoveries,” from second graders at Ball’s Bluff Elementary
School is available for viewing during the month of March at
Thomas Balch Library.
Second grade students created turtles using math, sculpture,
drawing, measurement, and observational skills. The animals
were made using clay and foam. Each turtle resides in a habitat
showing the area under it and the environmental elements
around it. A museum card provides information on each turtle,
including their name.
