No Trash, Recycling, or Yard Waste Collection on Memorial
Day Holiday
All collections will be shifted by one day.
Leesburg, VA (May 23, 2022) – There will be no trash, recycling, or yard waste collection in
Leesburg on the Memorial Day holiday, on Monday, May 30.
Trash, recycling, and yard waste will be shifted by one day. The revised holiday schedule for
trash and recycling collection is as follows:
• Monday, May 30 – No collections
• Tuesday, May 31st – Northwest
• Tuesday, May 31st – Yard waste collection Town-wide
• Wednesday, June 1st – Northeast, Inside the Bypass
• Thursday, June 2nd – Northeast, Outside the Bypass
• Friday, June 3rd – Southwest, plus Meadowbrook
• Saturday, June 4th – Southeast, except Meadowbrook
There will be no commercial curbside collection on Monday, May 30. Commercial curbside
customers will have trash collection Tuesday through Saturday. Recycling collection for
commercial curbside customers will be on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday as currently
scheduled.
