RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
CONTRACT WITH BEN J. ZANDER, ESQ.
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of the services of a computer expert in
connection with its defense and prosecution in the mattcr of Harold Saperstein v. John P.
Wanskius, et als., Docket No.: L-950-99; and
WHEREAS, the Borough desires to retain the services of Ben J'. Zander, Esq., because
he possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said expert computer
services; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are available for said
purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1 Ben J. Zander, Esq. is hereby retained as a computer expert in the above
referenced matter at an hourly rate of $325.00 per hour with an initial retainer
of $5,000.00; an with an initial maximum cost not to exceed $7,500.00
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that this award is made as a professional services
contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-5(1)a.
