CITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, JULY 19, 2021
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the July 19, 2021 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at 5:47
P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Councilmembers were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Hensley, Kemna, Lester, Spencer, Spicer, Vogt, and Ward
Absent: Schreiber and Wiseman
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilmember Ward will lead the prayer.
Miscellaneous
- Dr. Tom Robbins will attend via WebEx and provide a pandemic update.
- Steve Cearlock will provide a Patriot Day update, announcing events to
commemorate the 20th anniversary of September 11th.
- The Mayor’s Choice Award Winners of the Capital Arts/Historic City of
Jefferson High School Sketch Day will be in attendance and recognized for
their award-winning entries.
Announcements
- Councilmember Hensley will make a Budget Committee announcement.
- Councilmember Lester will have a Sales Tax H announcement.
Bills Introduced
- City Staff presented their respective introduced bills.
Councilmember Wiseman arrived at the meeting at 5:50 P.M.

- City Staff presented their respective pending bills.
Resolutions
- City Staff presented their respective resolutions.
