HELD: August 10, 1957 PRESENT: VICE -MAYOR COMMISSIONER Stewart B. Iglehart COMMISSIONER Henry V. Pope it Curtis H. Dodson Deputy Town Clerk J.R. Fountain Town Attorney Henry F. Lilienthal The minutes of the Commission me ?ting held on July 13, 1957 were read, approved and adopted. J.R.Fountain reported bank balances as follows: General Fund $ 9,002.33 Water Fund 5,764.08 Reserve Depreciation Fund 6,531.63 Payments from the general fund during July were on checks numbered 158 through 186, amd totaled $ 22332.65. Payments from the water fund during the month of July were on checks numbered 113 through 117, and totaled $ 720.22. All of the payments from both the general fund and the water fund were approved. Mr. Henry V. Pope and &R. Fountain reported on the meeting held with Mr. Charles Senior and Mr. Schrimper of the Fla. Power & Light Co. Mr. Senior at that meeting explained that the Fla. Power & Light Co. would agree to trim the pine trees along AlA in Gulf Stream on both sides of the highway provided they would be permitted to trim these trees slightly lower than they were trimmed last time and provided that the Town Kaid would assume the re- sponsibility lm of hauling away the limbs and debree. Mr. Iglehart made a motion that the Town cooperate with the Fla. Power and Light Co, and that J.R. Fountain notify Mr. Senior to that effect so that they can commence work immediately. Mr. Dodson seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. J.R. Fountain reported that Mr. Cromer had called and said that it was -necessary that a fire hydrant in front of and accross the street from M L I rs. arges s home be re- located. Mr. Pope made a motion . that this work be done n provided it does not cost Ove- 75.00. Mr. Dodson seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
