RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
FOR FINANCIAL ADVISORY SERVICES WITH MUNICIPAL ADVISORY
PARTNERS, INC. - FINANCING THE CARTERET LANDFILL PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized financial advise with
regard to the financing for the Carteret Landfill Project; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Advisory Partners, Inc. possess the requisite skill and
expertise fQr said services; and
WHEREAS, Municipal Advisory Partners, Inc has submitted a proposal to provide said
financial advisory services at a total cost not to exceed $5000.00; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal;
WHEREAS, Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for
said purpose, from the Titan-P.D.C. escrow account established for the Landfill Project
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
I. That the proposal from Municipal Advisory Partners, Inc for
financial advisory services related to the Carteret Landfill Project
at a total cost not to exceed $5000.00 is hereby approved.
2. That annexed hereto is a copy of said proposal.
3. That this action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract.
4. That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Borough's
Purchasing Department and Municipal Advisory Partners.
Adopted this 16th day of June, 2005
and certified as a true copy of the
original on June 17,2005.
