SOG GUIDELINES RESOLUTION 2021-1 GREENCASTLE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY RESOLUTION AMENDING THE GREENCASTLE FIRE DEPARTMENT STANDARD OPERATING GUIDELINES WHEREAS, Sections 106 through 113 of the current Greencastle Fire Department Standard Operating Guidelines (SOG's), revised March 2000, list job descriptions for positions at the Greencastle Fire Department; WHEREAS,the job descriptions contained in the SOG are antiquated and new job descriptions have been drafted;and WHEREAS, it is more efficient and job descriptions can be adapted easier to changes in procedures, required training,and other requirements if they remain a matter of departmental determination,outside of the formal,adopted Standard Operating Guidelines. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE through its Board of Public Works and Safety hereby deletes Sections 106 through 113 of the Fire Department Standard Operating Guidelines, as amended in March 2000. All other terms of the SOG's shall remain in place until further amended or repealed.
