The City Council of the City of Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa, met in a work session August 18, 2015 at
5:08 p.m. Mayor Berner called the meeting to order. Upon roll being called the following named council
members were present: Bartels, Havens, Kahler (arrived at 5:35pm), Upton, Ryan (arrived at 5:20pm).
Also present: City Administrator/Clerk Boldt, Director of Public Works Mehmen, Deputy City Clerk Platz,
Utility Billing Clerk Shaull, and Interim Assistant City Administrator Long.
Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval
Motion to approve the agenda by Bartels. Havens seconded. All ayes, agenda approved.
City Finance 101- Cindy Kendal — Iowa League of Cities
Cindy Kendal presented the basics of the processes of city finance.
Kahler exited meeting at 7:10pm
Adjournment
Motion to adjourn by Ryan, second by Bartels. Meeting adjourned at 7:40pm. All ayes, meeting
adjourned.
