Board of Electrical Examiners and Review

July 13, 2021

Bill Luebbert, Electrical Inspector
COUNCIL LIAISON ABSENT:
Ron Fitzwater, Councilman
The Electrical Board of Examiners and Review met July 13, 2021, in the Thomas Jefferson
Conference Room of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order by
Bill Luebbert at 4:20 p.m. A quorum was present.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM June 8, 2021 MEETING
A motion was made by Fred Gladbach and seconded by Sam Thomas to approve the minutes of
the June 8th, 2021 meeting. Motion passed by show of hands.
REVIEW LICENSE APPLICATIONS
• A motion was made by Sam Thomas and seconded by Jim Gooch to approve Jacob
Tamm to receive his Master Electrician's license. The motion was passed by a show of
hands.
• A motion was made by Jim Gooch and seconded by Fred Gladbach to approve Joseph
Ramsey to take his Journeyman Electrician's exam. The motion was passed by a show of
hands.
• A motion was made by Fred Gladbach and seconded by Jim Gooch to approve Nick
Stokes to receive his Journeyman Electrician's license. The motion to was passed by a
show of hands.
• A motion was made by Sam Thomas and seconded by Joel Vanderslice to deny Timothy
Clemon taking his Master Electrician's exam. The motion was passed by a show of
hands.
• The matter of Robert Walken receiving his Journeyman's Electrication license was tabled
by a show of hands until further verification of his hours is received.
OLD BUSINESS
• The board discussed code update to 2017.
NEW BUSINESS
• A motion was made by Jim Gooch and seconded by Fred Gladbach to adopt the 2017
National Electrical Codes to the same standard as the 2014 National Electrical Codes for
the City of Jefferson.
The motion was approved by a show of hands.
SCHEDULE NEXT MEETING
The Electrical Review Board's next meeting will be August 31st, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. in the
Thomas Jefferson Conference Room.
ADJOURN
With no other business, the Board of Electrical Examiners and Review Meeting adjourned at
4:55 p.m.
