RESOLUTION NO. 90 -3004
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY ADOPTING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT
90 -1 TO REDESIGNATE THE SUBJECT PROPERTY IDEN-
TIFIED ON THE ATTACHED MAP LABELLED EXHIBIT "A"
FROM HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City has amended its General
Plan in compliance with applicable portions of the California
Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the public was noticed and given ample opportunity
to comment on the proposed .amended General Plan during public
hearings conducted by the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a duly noticed public
hearing on November 6, 1990, in accordance with State Law; and
WHEREAS, all testimony and comments received during the
public hearings held by the City have been given due consideration;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Temple City finds that:
Section 1. An Environmental Impact Report prepared in
accordance with State Law has been completed and certified on
January 3, 1989, in substantial compliance with the California
Environmental Quality Act. An Initial Environmental Study has been
completed and additional comments relative to possible environment-
al impacts have been discussed; said Initial Study conforms to the
requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970
(Public Resources Code, Section 21000, et seq.), the "Guidelines
for the Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act
of 1970 ", as amended, adopted by the Secretary for Resources of the
State of California, and the Procedures for Implementation of the
California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 adopted by resolution
of the City.
Section 2. The General Plan Amendment is hereby adopted and
the attached map shall be incorporated into the Land Use Element of
the General Plan.
Section 3. The subject property delineated on the attached
map labelled Exhibit "A" are legally described as follows:
A portion of Lot 105 of Tract 3623, Book 40, Page 52 of
Maps and the southern 50 feet of Lot 106 of Tract 3623, Book
40, Page 52 of Maps as recorded in the Office of the Re-
corder, County of Los Angeles, State of California.
Section 4. General Plan Amendment 90 -1 is approved based
upon the findings enumerated in Planning Commission Resolution
90- 1571PC and the above enumerated findings of fact.

Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
