SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Over the past several months, the City Departments have invested a large amount of time, energy
and funds into ensuring that the Y2K bug will not cause significant disruptions in the delivery of public services.
All essential public services, including police and fire protection,
the water treatment plant, and the wastewater treatment plant will be operational. Computers, software and phone systems have been upgraded across all City Departments to ensure Y2K
compliance.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
No action required.
