APPROVING PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES INTERLOCAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX
WHEREAS, the present Pub1ic Health Services Interlocal Services Agreement
between the Borough of Carteret and the County of Middlesex wi1l expire at the
end of December, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has determined that a renewa1 of this Interlocal
Service Agreement is beneficial to the Borough of Carteret; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body is desirous to enter into a new Interlocal
Services Contract with the County of Middlesex for a period of two (2) years,
until December 31,2007 as authorized pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:8-1, et seq.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret as fo1lows:
1. The Public Health Services Interlocal Services Agreement with the
County of Middlesex for the period of January 1, 2006 through
December 31, 2007 is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and Borough Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the
Interlocal Services Agreement in a form approved by the Borough
Attorney.
3. The Borough Clerk sha1l forward the executed agreement in the
requested number of counterparts to the Public Hea1th Department,
County of Middlesex, at the Midd1esex County Administration Building,
Fifth Floor, 1 JFK Square, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

and certified as a true copy ofthe
original on July 1, 2005.
