To Whom It May Concern:
Most of my concern regarding the Canyon Springs Development is over the increase of
traffic on Glenshire Drive. We already have too much traffic, traveling too fast on this
road. I live on Glenshire Drive, so I know. The excuse that it was once a "highway" is
pathetic. Small children walk and ride their bikes on this street. It seems that some sort
of mitigation for the Canyon Springs project should include the development of a trail
system through easements and open space in Glenshire and the surrounding
neighborhoods for bicycle, pedestrian and equestrian traffic. This would help to
eliminate the potential for someone getting hurt or killed on Glenshire Drive.
What will the increased traffic do to the Glenshire pond?
Another concern is increased travel by people who live in Glenshire to other areas due
to the fact that Canyon Springs will be built on property we have been using for hiking,
running and walking for many, many years.
I honestly don't think we need this much development at this point in time. There are so
m y houses on the market right now and they are not selling.
