Dear Ms. Nishimori:
I am writing to express a concern over the proposed Canyon Springs development. My
concern is that infrastructure will be built and then abandoned because the economic
conditions do not favor home sales. There are examples of this scenario in close proximity
to the planned development - Elkhorn Ridge and The Bluffs. Both developments have roads
leading to nothing. I would hate to see a network of useless roads built in what is now
undeveloped woodland. Once it's paved, it's lost. Will the EIR present an economic analysis
of the project? If not, when does the town take that into consideration during their review?
