The Truckee Sanitary District (TSD) has reviewed the Notice of Preparation for the Canyon
Springs Development and has the following comments:
• TSD will be the sewer provider for this project.
• The project will be required to submit improvement plans for TSD to review.
Improvement plans must be in conformance with TSD design standards and District Code
Ordinance 1 -2008.
• Both on -site and off -site sewer improvements will be required to serve the project. Off -
site sewer improvements are anticipated to include a sewer outfall through the adjacent
open space areas owned by others. All sewer facilities will be required to be located
within public utility or sanitary sewer easements.
• EIR scope should include, sewer iriErastnucture to provide fixture service .to the adjacent
lots to the east owned by the Raley Corporation.
