RESOLUTION NO. 90 -3009
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY ESTABLISHING HOLIDAYS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Pursuant to Section 2354 of the Temple City
Municipal Code, the holidays established for the City of Temple
City are as follows:
All employees shall be entitled to the following legal
holidays:
New Years Day
Presidents Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Day after Thanksgiving
Christmas Day
One Floating Holiday
Two Additional Floating Holidays to be designated by
Council
Any day appointed by the President or Governor as a
public holiday, subject to the approval of the City Coun-
cil and any other day designated by the Council.
When a holiday falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday
will be the official day off; when a holiday falls on a
Sunday, the following Monday will be the official day
off.
Section 2. The two floating holidays to be designated by
Council for Fiscal Year 1990 -91 shall be Monday, December 24 and
Monday, December 31.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.

I, City Clerk of the City of Temple City, hereby certify
that the foregoing Resolution, Resolution No. 90 -3009 was adopted
by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular
meeting held on the 20th day of November, 1990 by the following
vote:
AYES: Councilmember- Froehle, Manning,McGowan,Wilson,Breazeal
NOES: Councilmember -None
ABSENT: Councilmember -None
