Subject: Tahoe Donner Marina Expansion
My wife and I have lived full time in Tahoe Donner far 23 years. We are opposed
to the proposed Marina expansion because:
1. The Marina is not open to the public, the expansion will allow public use to
generate public revenues. We are supposed to be a non-profit Association.
2. The original planned use of the Marina did not consider public use.
3. 20 healthy trees are to be destroyed in the process of expansion to
accommodate public use such as weddings.
4. Marina parking for TDA Members will be negatively impacted by large public events.
5. Excessive exterior lighting will increase light pollution.
