Dear Ms Endress
I am a Tahoe Donner Homeowner who is writing to express my strong opposition to TD's proposed modification of our
Marina.
They are representing that the modifications are for handicapped access. Conversation in meetings clearly indicate that
the real reason is to have an event facility. I would much rather have such a facility in Tahoe Donner itself, near other
facilities. If they really want it for ADA access, they could do it with far less disruption and expenditure of my money .
Tahoe Donner is a guest in the Donner Lake community. As such, I would like us to be good neighbors and not inflict
bright lights that would glare across the entire lake, or place a further burden on already inadequate parking. Trees are
an important part of Donner Lake's scenic background, and this project would remove many trees intentionally, and
more unintentionally because of damage from extensive excavation.
I hope that the Town will limit the update to what is truly needed for ADA access, and eliminate all the inappropriate
upheaval.
