Hi Jenna, I believe I had written you earlier when Tahoe Donner applied for a permit to cut trees and
make changes to the Marina. I still am not in favor of changes being made to the Marina. Bad
behavior (having weddings etc. without permits) should not be rewarded with new expansion of a
facility by securing new permits. Cutting trees, unless dead and a hazard is a travesty. Enlarging the
Marina's facility will also encourage more use by TD members and therefore require more parking,
will TD then ask to cut more trees to enlarge it's parking space? Donner Lake is a gem and should
not be ruined by additional changes to its natural beauty for any reason. I would also recommend
that any watercraft entering the lake through TD be inspected for invasive species and that is more
important then expanding a beach front property.
