Subject: Appeal of Tahoe Donner Marina
As homeowners in Tahoe Donner, we wish to convey our displeasure with our association's request to appeal the
Planning Commission's decision regarding the Marina transformation. We were extremely happy to see that the
Planning Commission made the correct choice to deny our association's request for changes to the Marina which we
believed were being made without consent from its many members. It is already very dangerous when putting
watercraft into the lake and changing the configuration of the area would only increase that danger. Removing healthy
trees is irresponsible and not necessary.
Please submit this letter to the appropriate persons to assure that it is included in any discussions regarding the Marina
appeal. We hope that since the town has appointed the members to the Planning Commission, that they will back their
members and not overrule their decision but rather let our association know that they need to make responsible choices
based on input from all of their members. The decision to reconfigure and expand the Marina is not acceptable.
