A RESOLUTION OF THE TRUCKEE TOWN COUNCIL REQUESTING THE NEVADA
COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION REVISE THE ALLOCATION OF LOCAL
TRANSPORTATION FUNDS (LTF) FOR OPERATION OF THE TRUCKEE TRANSIT &
PARATRANSIT SYSTEM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2013/2014
WHEREAS, Transportation Development Act Funds are allocated to the Nevada County
Transportation Commission for the Town of Truckee; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Truckee has designed a system that will most effectively serve
the residents of Truckee; and
WHEREAS, these projects meet the requirements of the Regional Transportation Plan;
and �,
t WHEREAS, the audit conducted for FY 2012/13 identifies that the Town of Truckee has ,
available deferred revenue in the amount of $2,722 for Local,Transportation Funds (LTF) that ,
were not utilized for the purposes intended during the 2012/13 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the maximum TDA eligibility for FY 2013/14 is $628,744; and
WHEREAS, the Town's original LTF claim to NCTC for FY 2013/14 was $401,287; and
WHEREAS, the available LTF unused allocated apportionment from prior years is
$120,862; and `
� WHEREAS, the financial needs for the Town of Truckee Fixed Route and Paratransit
systems differ from those at the time of the original allocation due to changed circumstances;
and
WHEREAS, the Town wishes to revise and increase its LTF claim for FY 2013/14 to
$414,009;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE TRUCKEE TOWN COUNCIL
� requests the following:
1. NCTC allocate $414,009 of Local Transportation Funds to the Town of Truckee
� Fixed Route and Paratransit systems FY 2013/14 operations budget as outlined in
�J the attached Revised Annual Transportation/Transit Claim Form Fiscal Year
2013/14.
2. That of the $414,009 of LTF, NCTC approve the claim for reallocation of $2,722 in
- FY 2012/13 deferred revenue to be used in FY 2013/14.
3. NCTC distribute the remaining $411,287 of LTF funds as they become available.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Council iVlember Wallace Dee,
seconded by Council Member Brown, at a Regular Meeting of the Truckee Town Council,
held on the 22nd day of April 2014, and adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Council Member Wallace Dee, Council Member Brown, Council Member
deRyk Jones, Vice Niayor Barr, and Mayor Flora.
