A RESOLUTION OF THE TRUCKEE TOWN COUNCIL REQUESTING THE NEVADA
COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION ALLOCATE STATE TRANSIT ASSISTANCE
(STA) FUNDS FOR OPERATION OF THE TRUCKEE TRANSIT& PARATRANSIT SYSTEM
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2014/2015
WHEREAS, Transportation Development Act Funds are allocated to the Nevada County
Transportation Commission for the Town of Truckee; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Truckee has designed a transit system that will most effectively
serve the residents of Truckee; and
WHEREAS, these projects meet the requirements of the Regional Transportation Plan. ;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE TRUCKEE TOWN COUNCIL
requests the following:
1. NCTC allocate $70,391 of State Transit Assistance Funds to the Town of Truckee
Transit 2014/2015 operations budget.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Council Member Wallace Dee,
seconded by Council Member deRyk Jones, at a Regular Meeting of the Truckee Town
Council, held on the 24th day of June, 2014 and adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Council Member Wallace Dee, Council Member deRyk Jones, Council
Member Brown, Vice Mayor Barr, and Mayor Flora.
NOES: None. .
ABSENT: None.
