CITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, SEPTEMBER 7, 2021
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the September 7, 2021 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order
at 5:45 P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Councilmembers were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Hensley, Kemna, Lester, Schreiber, Spicer, Vogt, Ward, and
Wiseman
Absent: Spencer
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilmember Hensley will lead the prayer.
Announcements
- Councilmember Kemna will provide a Peddlers Jamboree recap.
- Todd Spalding, Director of Parks and Recreation, will announce the upcoming
Parks Commission meeting.
- Rachel Senzee, City Neighborhood Services Manager will announce the next
Community Needs Assessment Public Meeting.
- Police Captain Eric Wilde will announce the rededication of the Veterans
Plaza.
Councilmember Spencer arrived at the meeting at 5:46 P.M.
Consent Agenda
- There were no questions at this time.
Bills Introduced
- City Staff presented their respective introduced bills.
Bills Pending
- City Staff presented their respective pending bills.
Informal Calendar
- Councilmember Hensley intends to take bill 2021-036, related to the City
budget, off the informal calendar for third reading and passage.

New Business
- Eric Barron, City Planning Manager will provide a City ward redistricting
update.
Closed Session
- A closed session is on tonight’s agenda.
