THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, JULY 3, 2014
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5:00 P.M., Thursday, July
3, 2014, in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 50 North 5th Street, Richmond, Indiana.
President Robinson called the meeting to order and the following business was conducted:
ROLL CALL
Present were: Vicki Robinson, Tony Foster and Dick Foore.
Also in attendance were Kim Vessels, Assistant City Attorney; Karen Chasteen, City Clerk; Tracy Bosell,
Street Department; Greg Stiens, Engineering; Sergeant at Arms; and, Media.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Foster moved to approve the minutes for the meeting with a second by Mr. Foore. Upon a vote viva
voce, the motion carried.
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT
Mr. Foore moved to approve the July 3, 2014 Claims for Payment in the amount of Three Hundred Eighty
One Thousand Eight Hundred Forty Five Dollars and fifty three cents ($381,845.53), supported by Mr.
Foster. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.

Mr. Foore moved to approve, supported by Mr. Foster. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.

Mr. Foster moved to reject all bids received for the demolition of 410 North 15th Street and re-
advertise for new bids, supported by Mr. Foore. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.

Mr. Foster moved to approve, supported by Mr. Foore. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.

CHANGE ORDERS
• CONTRACT NO. 30 -2013 — CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 (Metropolitan Development)
AECOM TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC.
Limited subsurface investigation of the previously unidentified source area discovered during the
installation of the offsite monitoring well at the former Gas Plant

Mr. Foster moved to approve, supported by Mr. Foore. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.

Renovation of 1400/1500 Industries Road for Wolverine Worldwide /Stride Rite
Not to exceed $51,041.00
Mr. Foster moved to approve, supported by Mr. Foore. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
Mr. Foster also moved to authorize Ms. Robinson to execute this Change Order, supported by Mr.
Foore. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
