SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Ida-Ore Planning & Development has prepared an application
for Idaho Community Development Block Grant (ICDBG) funds in support of the McCall Ice Rink & Event Center. A public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday October 25.
The grant application
includes funding for public improvements related to the Ice Rink project, including additional parking. A total of $500,000 of grant funds are requested. The Sabala Memorial Foundation’s
investment in the construction of the facility serves as the required local match.
The grant will be awarded to the City. Ida-Ore will administer the grant. There will be no additional
cost to the City.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the grant application and authorize the Mayor to sign.
