SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Police Department
has applied for an additional Highway Safety Grant that is similar in nature to the highway safety grant that was previously approved on July 27, 2000. The difference being that the
money is coming from another section from within the Transportation Department. The total award would be $19,100. The match would be an equivalent amount of salary and officer’s time.
