SUMMARY STATEMENT:
In September Council approved the City Manager Performance
Standards which included a water rate study to be completed by January 2001. Since that time the City Manager has determined that he, in conjunction with staff, will prepare a report
to Council rather than seek the assistance of a citizen’s committee. To date we have obtained a number of documents and contacts to use as resources in the study and are confident we
can complete the study on time. It would be premature to make any specific statements on the study as we have just begun to collect and review data. A number of citizens have expressed
concern over the cost of water in McCall and the equity of our current system, which prompted this update to Council.
