AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE INDIANA
DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE PROGRAM INCOME FUND
WHEREAS, the Indiana Department of Commerce Program Income Fund has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond desires to submit a grant application to install a street and provide sewer service at the Habitat for Humanity subdivision located at 1125 South “O” Street;
and
WHEREAS, no local match is required for this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
The City of Richmond is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to the Indiana Department of Commerce Program Income Fund to install a street and provide sewer service at the
Habitat for Humanity subdivision located at 1125 South “O” Street.
The City of Richmond is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to One Hundred Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($175,000.00).
Said funds, if awarded to the City of Richmond, shall be appropriated to install a street and provide sewer service at the Habitat for Humanity subdivision located at 1125 South “O”
Street.
Passed and adopted this 15th day of October, 2001, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
