SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The attached letter from DEQ
is a modification of the Amended Consent Order. This will allow the City to complete construction and begin operation of the winter storage facility by June 1, 2001, without placing
a ban on new connections to the City’s waste water treatment system. If the City does not complete construction by June 1st , the City must reimpose the ban on any new connections as
of June 15, 2001.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the modifications of the Amended Consent Order and authorize the mayor to sign.
