SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Local Option Tax
Committee has recommended holding an election in February of 2001. City Council must designate a suitable polling place for the election at least 45 days prior to the election. Idaho
Code §50-408 states, “polling places shall be in the same location as those provided for county and state elections”. In the past the City has held the elections in Legion Hall.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve Resolution 00-25 Proclaiming a Special City Election.
