SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Winter Carnival 2001 will be held from January
26, 2001 through and including February 4, 2001. The Chamber of Commerce would like to have a Beer Garden as they have in the past. The attached Resolution identifies the dates and
times of the event and shows the beer garden site. A $1 million insurance policy showing the City as an additional insured must also be provided along with a copy of a state alcohol-catering
permit in order for the Chamber of Commerce to host the event.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve resolution No. 00-24 for suspension of the open container ordinance (MCC5-5-030F)
for Winter Carnival.
