I had hoped this really, really bad idea would have been put to rest long ago. Please let me reiterate my concerns: Traffic: Both during construction and afterwards. Even with the improvement of Glenshire Drive this road is already taxed to the max. Wildlife Habitats & Environment: My personal main concern is the negative Environmental Impact and the further destruction of Wildlife Habitat. This Fall I have seen more deer killed by traffic on Glenshire Drive than in previous years. This just highlights the negative impact additional traffic and development would have on our Deer population and the vital deer migration will be further endangered. I am also still very concerned about the impact on the Glenshire Pond, which is an important wildlife habitat serving thousands of migrating as well as resident birds and waterfowls. As an avid nature lover, artist and bird watcher this is a major issue for me and my fellow bird and wildlife lovers. Please help us preserve the wonderful environment we have been blessed with. Let's not destroy it with mindless growth with no regard to our environment. Let's keep Truckee and Glenshire Green!
