SUMMARY STATEMENT:
ITD has awarded the City $212,000
to do additional work on Hwy. 55, south of Park Street. A turn lane will be constructed on Hwy. 55, at Park Street. Curb and gutter, sidewalks and decorative street lighting will also
be installed. The total cost of the project, including engineering, is estimated to be $212,000.
An Addendum to our Cooperative Agreement with ITD is attached. The Addendum states that
ITD will provide an additional $212,000 to the City. The other terms of the Agreement remain unchanged. An associated Resolution is attached.
An Amendment to our Agreement with Keller
Associates is attached. The Amendment states that Keller will provide Design Services, Construction Administration, and Construction Observation for $33,500.
A Change Order to the City’s
contract with Boise Paving will be presented at a future meeting. Additional water and/or sewer line replacement may be requested at a future meeting. ITD funds cannot be used for water
or sewer line replacement.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt the Resolution re: ITD; authorize the Mayor to sign the Addendum to the Cooperative Agreement with ITD; and authorize the Mayor
to sign the Amendment to the Agreement with Keller Associates.
